This episode finds our fearless six heroes the victims of a tv news reporter out to make a name for herself. Kuno is an attractive reporter that has the guys drooling over her. She comes to Akihabara looking to do a piece on otakus when she runs into Page, Box, and Taiko who take her and her film crew back to the office. During the interview, Taiko has another one of his freezing sessions, Box changes his gloves because of his disorder while on camera, and Page has to use his computer speech synthesizer to carry on the interview because of his stuttering. To the dismay and anger of the team, the peice that airs shows them as uncaring when they move Taiko to a couch while he’s frozen claiming that the others don’t care about him otherwise they’d help him. The report makes Box light of disorder and makes it seem that Page can’t function without his laptop. This report pretty much angers all of the otakus in Akiba and death threats against Kuno start to appear on the Internet against her.
Kuno’s producer meets with Nakagomi to arrange an interview. Nakagomi rejects it, suggesting a return visit to the streets of Akihabara instead. He even offers to pay for the security guards. The producer and Nakagomi’s personal assitant, Shimoyanagi, visit the company that Nakagomi suggested, Akihabara@DEEP. Despite the team’s anger about the treatment they received in the news report, they accept the job, because ¥500,000 is a lot of money for the struggling company. The catch is, nothing can happen to Kuno.

Kuno returns to her home only to get a threatening phone call from a stalker. The stalker threatens to reveal Kuno’s secret. The stalker also tells her that he’s posted her schedule in Akihabara on the ‘net much to the dismay of the @DEEP team. When Kuno arrives in Akihabara, she and her crew are met with a (small) group of otakus protesting her second trip to Akihabara. The team is also there and manage to lure the group of protesters away. Kuno is surprised that that the @DEEP team are willing to be her bodyguards. While escorting Kuno in the back alleys of Akihabara, Page seems someone who looks like a threat to her and tackles her. Because of this, the team only earns ¥50.
After the debacle in Akihabara, Kuno returns home, only to find the stalker in her apartment. She manages to escape and turns up at the @DEEP office for their help. As luck would have it, Kuno still had saved a voice mail of the stalker and Taiko manages to remove the digital alteration so that everyone can hear the original voice. Now its up to them to capture the stalker and close another case.
