Akihabra@DEEP Ep 11 - Final
And end to a fun, fun show. Thanks Love Song, for working on this show. In episode 11, Akira wakes up, as a prisoner of Nakagomi. While she confronts Nakagomi, Taiko and Page meet up with other at the hospital where Daruma is recovering at. Much to their surprise, the comatose Daruma is not only awake, but redesigning the nurses uniform into every guy’s fantasy nurse uniform. As they trio talk, Daruma urges them to get back together and to get Yui back. Box and Taiko are surprised by his attitude, pointing out that he was brutally beaten. Daruma explains that something inside of him made him fight, despite being outnumbered and wants them to fight too. They’re overheard by Page, who had come to visit Daruma also.

Akihabra@DEEP Ep 10
Episode 10 is the second to the last for Akihabara@DEEP and it starts off with the team in a panic as Nakagomi pays a visit to the @DEEP office. He offers them ¥1,000,000 for Yui’s AI. Page and the gang refuse. Despite Nakagomi’s check he also offers them presents, high-end computer parts for Izumu, a guitar for Taiko, figurines for Box, and Rei’s suit from Neon Genesis Evangelion for Daruma. They still refuse. Izumu comes up with the suggestion that Nakagomi should ask Yui’s AI to decide whether to go or to stay since it basically achieved consciousness on it’s own. When he does, Yui flatly refuses, stating that he hasn’t changed at all.

Akihabara@DEEP Ep 9
The mysterious of the old man from the previous episode gets cleared in this episode. At the end of the last episode, the @DEEP find out that the old man, Hanzawa, is a famous computer pioneer and professor. When this episode starts out, the team members are in the @DEEP office when they get an email from Hanzawa-sensei. In his email, he tells them that 10 years earlier, he was professor and he was the mentor to two of his students. One of his protégés was Nakagomi, the president of Digital Capital (and the bad guy). Surprisingly, the second protégé was Yui-san, the person who brought the team together right before her death. He goes on to tell them that depsite Nakagomi’s standoffish behavior, the only person he trusted and fell in love with was Yui who also fell in love with Nakagomi. Their goal was to start a company in Akihabara after they graduated. They broke up after several arguments about what sort of business the company should be in. Yui wanted it to use the Internet to help the socially awkward and those who couldn’t function well in the real world. Nakagomi wanted it to be a for-profit business and earn as much money as possible.

Akihabara@DEEP Ep 8 - War of the Maids
So the @DEEP team and Akihabra manage to survive the zombie attacks from the last episode. Now Akanechin, the maid cafe that Akira work’s at is under attack. From the scantily clad maids of Nagomichin, a new maid cafe that opened up next door. The new maids invade Akanechin and hand out fliers and basically use their skimpy uniforms and sex appeal to lure Akihbara’s otakus into the cafe. Page, Daruma, Taiko, and Box sneak into Nagomichin’s (they have to sneak otherwise Akira will clobber them all) to scope out the competition. Unknown to the guys, Yui’s A.I. disappeared and Izumu thinks that it’s out on the Internet, learning and growing smarter. She’s concerned because this disappearance was sudden.

Akihabara@DEEP Ep 7 - The zombification of Akihabara
There isn’t a whole lot going on in this episode as the team discover that they’re out of money. Most of the money they earn come from ads shown on Akira’s website and a little money from music created by Taiko and Box, it isn’t enough. Their main profit-making venture, acting as “trouble shooters” in Akihabara isn’t making any money at all. In fact, it seems to be costing them money as they’ve had to pay for damages to camera equipment in episode 6. As they’re trying to come up with new ideas, things suddenly go from bad to life-threatening. Not just for them, but for all of Akihabara.
Akira’s idea is to concoct a special energy drink made from all things: from fruit to parsley to Umaibos. The resulting drink turns everyone else off instantly. Daruma’s idea seems to be a cosplay fashion show, featuring the costumes that he made. Taiko and Box’s idea is to start a escort club staffed by the male otakus of Akihabara which also gets turned down by the rest of the team. Izumu and Page’s idea is to turn Izumi into a moe/loli like mascot. Izumu dresses in a school uniform and then a school swimsuit and ends her sentences with “Oniichan. The moe meter does go through the roof here. Unfortunately, she can only wear the clothes for a few minutes. It turns out that her skin is sensitive to the materials.

Akihabara@DEEP 6
This episode finds our fearless six heroes the victims of a tv news reporter out to make a name for herself. Kuno is an attractive reporter that has the guys drooling over her. She comes to Akihabara looking to do a piece on otakus when she runs into Page, Box, and Taiko who take her and her film crew back to the office. During the interview, Taiko has another one of his freezing sessions, Box changes his gloves because of his disorder while on camera, and Page has to use his computer speech synthesizer to carry on the interview because of his stuttering. To the dismay and anger of the team, the peice that airs shows them as uncaring when they move Taiko to a couch while he’s frozen claiming that the others don’t care about him otherwise they’d help him. The report makes Box light of disorder and makes it seem that Page can’t function without his laptop. This report pretty much angers all of the otakus in Akiba and death threats against Kuno start to appear on the Internet against her.
